Movement is great for the soul and for business productivity. It is a Win-Win! As humans we are not designed to sit or stand (depending upon your preference) at a desk all day, behind computer screens. Taking breaks to exercise and get some movement outside in nature, whether that be going for a walk, run, yoga flow or weighted exercise, has truly made a positive difference for myself mentally, physically and when focusing on business productivity.

So much of the conversation around navigating the future of work focuses on things like physical safety and maintaining productivity. But what is equally essential is focusing on the human layer and prioritising employee well-being.

Living in a digital era has truly revolutionised how we do basic day-to-day activities. This includes how we socialise and interact with each other, the types of services offered and even how we purchase products. We can pretty much operate our lives through some form of technology no matter what time or place, it can easily be done.

Hope you are all keeping safe, well and as happy as can be expected during this Covid-19 pandemic.
I don’t think any of us predicted we would be in such a precarious situation. However, here we are having to adjust, as best we can, and endeavour to create a new ‘normal’. Or, at least create an environment in which we are appreciated for making a valuable contribution. Something that may not have been acknowledged fully in our ‘old’ world!
It is in times such as these that we must look for and find the positives, as this will give us the momentum to find the enthusiasm and drive to look forward to where we are heading and to define or redefine that path.

Lets stop and reflect upon how you are treating others in your life especially, at work as this is where we spending most of our waking hours on a daily basis.

Have you ever reflected on your life and then all of a sudden experienced an “aha moment?” That being a pivotal moment of sudden insight or discovery, that solidifies a decision to set the direction and move forward. Well that was something I had experienced earlier in the year, when having a conversation with my business partner.
